Clever ways to represent cash well spent
This
November 14th media release from Cancer Research UK uses an infograph & video to illustrate the fact that cancer rates have dropped since the 1970s. Over 5,000 children have been saved thanks to advances in cancer treatment.
For leukaemia alone, survival rates have risen to more than 80%.

“In the 70s, basically all children with cancer died. And now, about 80% of the children who come to us with a diagnosis of malignancy, we can actually offer them the chance for a cure.”
Representing complex information with
visual techniques like infographs or videos can help donors understand the importance of supporting non-sexy, open-ended projects like research.
